More From Cockermouth

Following on from yesterday's set of images from Cockermouth, a few more. There is a regular bus service between Penrith, Keswick, Cockermouth and Workington. The bus I arrived in Cockermouth on, having boarded it in Keswick. It is pictured in Main Street.
The very wide Main Street.
A view down Station Street.
The Cockermouth Sweet Shop.
Market Place Books.
This old looking building is the 'home' to the Percy House Gallery.
The impressive looking building is the United Reformed Church. It is recored that there was a church on this site as long ago as 1651.
The former livestock market, now called Tithe House.'
The colourful facade of the Castle Bar.
In need of some tender loving care, The Globe Hotel, closed and boarded up. It was reported that pub chain, J.D. Wetherspoon were interested in the property at one stage.
