White Moss Walk

White Moss, which is just south of Grasmere, is a popular area for walks, for both locals and tourists. There are numerous trails you can follow to Loughrigg Terrace, or Grasmere itself.
This was the start of a walk I made, which took me through Penny Rock Wood, and then around the back of Grasmere (the lake). During the next couple of days, we'll follow the walk I did on the North West Images site.
A wide path to begin with.
Across a beck.
Then follow the river.
I didn't actually have to cross this bridge. Note the dog about to enjoy a swim.

You were never far away from the peaceful sound of flowing water.

The last view of White Moss.
(Follow part two of the walk on North West Images tomorrow, when we go through Penny Rock Wood)
