Findhorn

Findhorn is a former fishing village north of the town of Forres.
Being situated where it is, not surprisingly there are still many links with the sea, with several boats moored close by.

On the Moray Coast trail, it is just two miles from the former R.A.F. station at Kinloss.
The Milk Parlour, just one of a handful of shops in the village.
The village store.
There are a couple of pubs in the village, both of which have a food menu.  This one seemed a bit pricey!
Entrance to the James Milne Institute.
A colourful village garden.
An old ships' anchor.

There is avery small Heritage Centre on the edge of the village, but it was closed on the day we were there.

A view over the fence of the Heritage Centre.
The Bunty, the village chippy, which doesn't look anything like a chippy!
There are links with the sea everywhere.
