Findhorn is a former fishing village north of the town of Forres. |
Being situated where it is, not surprisingly there are still many links with the sea, with several boats moored close by. |
On the Moray Coast trail, it is just two miles from the former R.A.F. station at Kinloss. |
The Milk Parlour, just one of a handful of shops in the village. |
The village store. |
There are a couple of pubs in the village, both of which have a food menu. This one seemed a bit pricey! |
Entrance to the James Milne Institute. |
A colourful village garden. |
An old ships' anchor. |
There is avery small Heritage Centre on the edge of the village, but it was closed on the day we were there. |
A view over the fence of the Heritage Centre. |
The Bunty, the village chippy, which doesn't look anything like a chippy! |
There are links with the sea everywhere. |
