Aviemore Station

Aviemore railway station is one of the main, and busy stops, between Perth and Inverness.
A charter train, of empty coaching stock was at the station, heading back to its home base in Carnforth.
The crest shown on the side of the coaching stock, which is seen in the previous image.
The station is shared with the Strathspey Steam Railway which runs from here to Boat of Garten and Broomhill. One of the Strathspey Railway Company benches.

Passing trains. The one of the left is for Inverness, and on the right for Edinburgh.
Aviemore is a well kept station, retaining many original features.
