A Walk Around Kirkby Lonsdale: Part 1 of 2

You won't find any 'chain stores' in the Lune Valley town of Kirkby Lonsdale. It's full of individual businesses and many buildings of fine architectural merit.
Sweet shop in the Square.
A closer look.
The Cariad, one of several cafe's, and restaurants in the town.
The Royal Hotel.
Snooty Fox pub, complete with snooty fox emblem.

The main shopping street.
Looking the other way.
Unusual to see scaffolding 'decorated' with hanging baskets!
This area is known as The Swine Market.
The General Stores.
Ornate gates leading to the Church.
A view from the Church doorway at the old buildings that surround it.
A path through the churchyard. We'll continue our walk around Kirkby Lonsdale tomorrow.
