A Walk To Heysham Village: Part 2 of 2

Continuing the walk around Heysham Village. After walking towards the port, I then took the path nearer the shore to head back across Heysham Head to the village. Looking out across Morecambe Bay.
It is certainly a good and well defined path to walk on.
Note the person stood on the left hand rock. Hope he got back to shore before the tide came in too deeply.
From Heysham Head with the West End of Morecambe in the distance, and the Lake District mountains beyond that.
Through the ruins of St. Patricks Chapel.
St. Peter's Well.
Back in the village.
Nettle Tea has been sold in the village for very many years.
Main Street, Heysham Village.
A little further along the Main Street
The Royal, and time for a beer after a long walk!
The beer didn't last long, so I had another!

Time to walk from the village to home, and past this cottage.
Back at the field with the horses. Taking a nap.

Psst .... want to know a secret?
This is the first time I have ever seen  a horse and trap on this part of the promenade. Almost home and the end of what had been a very enjoyable walk.
