Edinburgh Waverley Station

The famous Waverley Steps leading to and from Princes Street to the station. New escalators, on the right of the image, are now in place, although if you are feeling fit, you can still use the steps!

Edinburgh Waverley railway station has had a makeover in recent months. The glass roof has been replaced and as a result the station is cascaded with light as can be seen on these images, which were taken on a sunny day.
Many other improvements have taken place including refurbished platforms, escalators, walkways etc.

A closer look at the design of the way natural light now brightens up Waverley station.
