Inverness Station

Inverness railway station. The concourse, almost deserted at just after 8am.
Watch out for the morning rush. Commuters arrive. This is about as busy as it gets.
Then things get back to normal.

Services from Inverness include journeys to and from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Kyle of Lochalsh and the far north towns of Thurso and Wick. There are also commuter services to and from places such as Dingwall and Tain.

Directors of the Highland Railway Company.

There are regular and very well used services from Inverness to both Edinburgh Waverley, and in this case, Glasgow Queen Street.
Plaque commemorating men who lost their lives in The Great War.
A closer look.
