Media City, Manchester

Media City is situated on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal, and is a mixed property development aimed primarily, as the name suggests, at media outlets, notably for the BBC and ITV. The first phase of the 36-acre site was completed in 2011.
The main buildings at Media City, three of which are occupied by the BBC.

A short distance away is the building occupied by ITV and Granada.

The famous Blue Peter programme logo.
The modern architecture is very much an acquired taste.
