Inverness Cathedral

Inverness Cathedral is situated alongside the River Ness. The foundation stone was laid by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Charles Longley, in 1866. Construction of the Cathedral was completed three years later.

It is very difficult to avoid light reflecting on plaques and memorials in Cathedrals and Churches! This one is particularly interesting in view of the connection with The Cenotaph in Whitehall.
