The Canal At Lancaster

A return visit to one of my favourite photographic locations in Lancaster, alongside the canal. The narrowboat is pictured heading north along the Lancaster Canal.

A cruiser on the left, whilst the narrowboat is called 'Yendora Rodandang.'
This shorter narrowboat is called 'Bliss.'
The narrowboat 'Broad Oak' was about to leave its moorings and head south.
'Wingates.'
There seemed to be fewer boats moored than usual. This one is called 'Magdalen.'
'Mr. Chips.'

I liked the figure on the roof of the boat.
It was not good news for 'Plodder' which had just been towed to this mooring. I assume there had been an engine failure of some sort.
