Helm Crag

There are some great views and photographic possibilities in the  area around Helm Crag on the shore of Lake Windermere. The first image shows the familiar outline of the Langdales across the other side of the lake.
Reflections and the 'shimmering' of the water.
A glimpse of the lake.
Taking a break. Yacht moored fairly close to shore.
One of the lake cruise ships passes by the yacht heading for Bowness.
You can have this area virtually to yourself! So peaceful.
A view from Helm Crag.
* Having left the Low Wood Hotel jetty, (hotel building seen in the background), the launch heads for Waterhead.
* A close up of the launch.
* Old trees at Helm Crag.
* Helm Crag bay.
* The house across the lake is at Clappersgate. What a superb view the owners must have.

Walking around Helm Crag towards Waterhead.
* Red sails.
* 'Teal' heading south for Bowness, then Lakeside.
* Three in a boat.
* Another Windermere launch.
