Keswick Moot Hall & Town Centre

The Moot Hall building dominates the centre of Keswick and is now used as a Tourist Information Centre.
A Grade Two listed building, the original building was constructed in 1571. It was rebuilt in 1695, however, the present building dates from 1813.
It was originally used as the Town Hall for Keswick, and later as covered market place.
The final view of the Moot Hall, with the Tourist Information Centre entrance just visible.
Christmas shopping had not begun in Keswick. Very, very quiet.
Looking in the other direction.
A popular chippy, the Old Keswickian.
