| Despite the less than favourable weather, the every 20-minutes open top bus service from Bowness to Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere, has been operating daily for the past month. I got on this bus at Bowness Pier. |
When we used to visit the lakes (3-4 times a year, sometimes 5!) we stayed on a farm at Winster, just outside Bowness so these views are very familiar to me and gave me great pleasure seeing them once more.
