Settle Railway Station

Settle station is on the famous Settle-Carlisle line and is supported by the Friends of Settle-Carlisle Line, who look after many of the stations on the line that runs through stunning scenery from Carlisle to Leeds.
Settle station from the foot bridge looking north.

A long way to London.
Although no longer used by the railway, the signal box has been restored and opened to the public, thanks to the Friends of the Settle-Carlisle line.
Another view of the main station buildings.

I caught the train from Settle to Skipton, and it seems a couple of passengers before me had enjoyed a coffee!
