Cromarty Ferry & Signs

The fare for foot passnegers seemed very expensive for what is less than a 15 minute crossing. £6 return.
One car waiting for the next ferry. A very hot day, as can be seen with the doors and boot open.
Looking out for the ferry.
I love unusual and quirky signs.

The cheese did indeed look very tasty!

Your local dirty girl.

  1. What a novel set of images, gives me ideas for another day when I'm out. I suppose you took them while waiting for the ferry?
Interesting pictures as usual, much enjoyed. David.

  2. David - We didn't actually get the ferry. We had gone to Cromarty from Inverness on the bus. It was tempting to make a crossing and back, but the fare of £6 return for the short crossing was off putting! Seems excessive. Plus we didn't really have the time in any case. Maybe we will next year.
