Ramsbottom Shops

It's good to see that the East Lancashire town of Ramsbottom has kept the well known High Street names (Tesco, Costa etc.) out of their main shopping area and therefore retained many individual and colourful independent businesses as can be seen by the following set of images. It provides a much more interesting and pleasant shopping (and browsing!) experience. The Market will be featured tomorrow. The town is well worth a visit.
A shop for lovers of horses.
Having looked in the window of this shop, it proved very tempting!
The Cultured Bean. A change from Costa or Starbucks, and proboably cheaper too.
Taylor's chippy was looking busy.
Entwistle's Delicatessen.
Next door to each other are Bluegum Gifts and the Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary.
Another bakers, Mannings.

Walmsleys the butchers was the only shop that I noticed was closed.

Unusual name, for what is an unusual shop, to find in any shopping area.
Not sure about the colour scheme of this one!
Finally a butvchers shop that was open. Topping and Son.
