Silverdale

The village of Silverdale is between Carnforth and Arnside. The following images were taken just outside the village itself.
Silverdale Golf Club.

An old enamel sign at the station which is on the Lancaster - Carnforth - Barrow-in-Furness railway line.
The former station house and buildings, now a private residence. The railway station is well used by locals, tourists and walkers.
A row of plant pots.
On the Lancaster bound platform is the former waiting room. No longer in use.
Outside the station and there is a regular bus service linking Carnforth with Silverdale.
The RSPB have a large nature reserve at Leighton Moss on the edge of the village.
A male bullfinch on one of the feeders.
